On May 21, 2025, the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus № 202 «On Enhancing the Role of Employers in the Field of External Labor Migration» (hereinafter – the Edict) was signed. The main provisions will come into effect on August 23, 2025.
Additional obligations have been established for employers hiring migrant workers for employment in the Republic of Belarus.
Foreign entities with a registered permanent establishment (for tax purposes) due to their business activities in the Republic of Belarus have less than a month left to decide on the future format of their operations in the country.
