2022 is almost over, which means it is time to sum up its results and set goals for the future.

It was not an easy year for us, as we have faced many tasks from our Clients that we have never dealt with before. On the other hand, the search for appropriate solutions united our team and sometimes gave rise to very bold and extraordinary results.

On November 18, 2022, lawyer Irina Kozikova and senior lawyer Yulia Shuba held a seminar on the topic “Standards for advertising medicines, medical equipment and medical devices, distribution of promotional materials for healthcare professionals within the framework of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Code of Practice of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers”.

Article of Borovtsov & Salei: How to choose optimal organizational and legal form of doing business, taking into account specifics of Belarusian legislation. For comparison, the most common forms of doing business are closed joint-stock company (CJSC), limited liability company (LLC), private unitary enterprise (PUE).

Choice of optimal form of doing business is indispensably related to effectiveness of its activities and should be based on comprehensive assessment of systematically processed advantages and disadvantages of each of the forms.

On October 28, 2022, partner Lada Maisenya and lawyer Irina Kozikova held a seminar on the topic “Events with healthcare professionals. Involvement of healthcare professionals to provide services within the framework of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Code of Practice of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers”.

On October 31, 2022 Decree of the President of Belarus No. 386 was signed. It established additional restrictions in relation to actions of legal entities (their participants), included in the list of legal entities of the Republic of Belarus, participants (shareholders) of which are persons from "unfriendly" countries. Such a list was previously approved by the Government.
